Unlike grocery watch and fuel watch which were found to be largely useless and toothless after a little while, this one's turned to shit from the get-go. Well done krudd.News.com.au - THE Federal Government's controversial My School website appears to be experiencing technical difficulties on its first morning of operation. At 6am (AEDT) today, the site's search engine to find schools was not working. The site became active at 1am (AEDT).

Seems to be a victim of its own popularity. The other sites died a slow death after getting no visitors.
ReplyDeleteI note with interest that the local schools in my suburb out-perform the average. Is it racist to say this is because of the high Asian population in our district?
Presumably not ar, if it were predominantly white and you were crowing about it, then yes the lefties would be very angry with you.
ReplyDeleteThen again, there's no guarantee that lefties won't turn on Asians. Perhaps if their success was more widespread and in the spotlight, it'll start to irritate the left.
...but....but....
ReplyDeleteIsn't bigger government ALWAYS the answer?
Isn't it?
ISN'T IT?!?!?
....all my illusions....shattered.
I'm crushed......
....oh....sorry, had a "progressive moment", there......
LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks Touch.
To be fair, I will say Julia was, for once, correct in saying the crash of the website from the influx of traffic shows just how keen parents are for this information.
ReplyDeletePersonally I would prefer to see this website in conjunction with a school vouchers system, but the fact the teachers unions hate being measured against actual criteria, their dislike for this is more than enough for me to support it.
They're mkaking a big case of how well public schools stack up against private schools. Given that leftists are never upfroint about their true intentions, maybe this league table has more to do with cutting private school funding than anything else?
